We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:30am to start the journey to the Sacred Valley of the Inca by private transportation along with an Authentic Trek guide.  The first stop will be by a local community called Ccaccaccollo, where you will meet native people from the Andes, and have the chance to learn about textiles made of llamas, alpacas, and more. You will also have an amazing opportunity to see camels. This village is a good place to learn about local agriculture, the main economic source is agriculture but nowadays tourism also provides great supports for them. Not many tour companies, bring people here.

After seeing the amazing village we will go on with our tour to El Mirador de Valle Sagrado also known as the lookout point of Sacred Valley of the Incas.  Here we will enjoy wonderful views and take pictures of its beauty. Our next stop will be Pisaq archeological site which is one of the best!  There we will explore and discuss the history behind the site.  The last place we will explore before heading to lunch will be the market in Pisaq town. This is where women come down from the Andean villages to sell their textiles and vegetables, the market is open every day, but is busiest days are Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

After exploring the market, we will drive along the valley for about 50 minutes, until we reach Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch. You will receive an amazing selection of fresh dishes, served buffet-style. After lunch, we will drive to Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the beautiful Inca archeological site to explore the Temple of the Sun, Moon, etc. This living Incan town also displays narrow walkways, lined with water channels and Inca constructions.
Aguas Calientes Town – Machu Picchu –Train Journey Back To Cusco

Today we start early in the morning to visit Machu Picchu.  We will be visiting the famous Sacred City of the Incas, which is one of the new seven wonders of the world.  Most people prefer to wake up at 4am and walk to the bus station to take one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. Depending on the weather and the season you choose to visit, it may be better to leave around 7am.

The bus ride is approximately 35 minutes.

Once in Machu Picchu your guide will take you to the best view point of this archeological site, you will have a chance to talk pictures and enjoy the views. You will then start your walking guided tour around Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours. During this portion of the tour you will go by The Temple of the Sun, The Royal Tomb, The Intiwatana (sun dial rock), The Main Plaza, The Temple of the 3 Windows, The Artisan Sector, and The Condor Temple. Once the tour is complete, you will have a chance to enjoy more of this magical citadel. During this free time, you can walk to the sun gate or the Inca bridge, wander around the archeological site or enjoy some alone time. If you booked a climb to Wayna Picchu mountain or Machu Picchu mountain, this will be the time to enjoy these.

In the afternoon, we will catch a bus back to Aguas Calientes town to find a restaurant for lunch. You can also use this time to walk and explore the town, the town is small but modern.  Later we will catch the train to Ollantaytambo, which is less than 2 hours. After the train ride there will be transport waiting for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco City. This is where our tour comes to an end.

*Very important- Wayna Picchu and Machu Picchu mountains are the ones around the citadel, so it requires a separate permit to climb. Please notify us if you are interested in booking a climb, as we need 1 month in advance.
